The Marching Band will begin practice before school starting Tuesday, April 4th at 7:10 AM. The practices will be every Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday every week in April, and Tuesday Wednesday Thursday the first week in May. The practices are preparation for the Apple Blossom Parade in Canon City Saturday, May 6th. Practices will not be cancelled due to weather. In case of bad weather the practice will be held in the Roncalli Gym. Students should be dropped off in the back of school and enter in the doors near the band room. Most mornings can be chilly so prepare and dress for the weather. Attendance for these early practices is crucial to the success of the band. Please be consistent and make all practices.
The uniform for the parade in Canon is the same as the concert dress uniform (all black). Black long sleeve button down dress shirt with collar. Solid black dress pants, solid black socks and solid black casual/tennis shoes. White ties will be provided.
